| | | GIGABYTE Unleashes New Products for the CeBIT 2010 Crowd
Transforming the PC Audio experience with Golden Plated HDMI connector for home theatre gaming 2010/03/01 | | | TAIPEI, TAIWAN, February 8, 2010 – GIGABYTE Technology aims to unveil several new products to be featured at the CeBIT 2010 show in Hannover, Germany. From March 2nd to March 6th, GIGABYTE will showcase the latest gear for computer media and enthusiasts and give a sneak peak into what technology highlights can be expected for the rest of the year.
Motherboards
On the Intel Platform, GIGABYTE will be exhibiting their flagship P55 motherboard, the GIGABYTE GA-P55A-UD7. Delivering awesome features for power users and gaming enthusiasts including a 24 phase power design , NVIDIA® 3-Way SLI™/ATI® CrossFireX™, as well as support for USB 3.0, 3x USB Power Boost (unique to GIGABYTE), and SATA 3.0 (6Gbps), the GIGABYTE GA-P55A-UD7 is the outright performance leader of its class.
In conjunction with AMD’s upcoming launch of the 800 Series chipsets, GIGABYTE will also showcase the soon to be released GA-890GPA-UD3H motherboard, featuring the AMD 890GX chipset paired with the all new SB850 South Bridge, offering up native support for Serial ATA 6Gbps and RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10. Also equipped with GIGABYTE 3x USB Power Boost and USB 3.0 support by utilizing the industry-leading NEC® controller, the GIGABYTE GA-890GPA-UD3H ensures users are ready to take advantage the next wave of high speed data transfer and storage technologies.
Graphics Cards
On the high-end graphics platform, GIGABYTE will demo the latest addition to its Super Overclock Series of premium graphics cards. The hottest new ATI RadeonTM HD 5870 GPUs, combined with Ultra Durable VGA boards from GIGABYTE, create the most stable and high-performing graphics cards available on the market today. In addition to quality components, each HD 5870 GPU is cherry picked using GIGABYTE’s proprietary GPU Gauntlet Sorting process. Computer users are demanding devices with more functionality which is why GIGABYTE continues to release innovative additions to the Booktop family of notebook computers. This year the main models that will be showcased are the M1305 and M1405. Both feature Intel® CULV processors creating light and thin form factors with exceptional battery life.
